i gotta remark that i, too, love Night on Earth and kinda thought i was the only person who had ever seen it. my favorite cab ride is the new york one, with helmut the driver. what a rad movie. so i know i just got :+fav:ed by someone with discerning taste. :)

Yeah it's a brilliant movie, it has such unique atmosphere and intelligent humor, i also love the scene with roberto benigni in italy ;)

"Helmet? HaHa that's something you wear on your head...." brilliant :)

yeah that's like naming your kid lampshade, lol. and then dude's name was yo-yo, haha. yeah the roberto begnigni one was really funny too. Even the ones that aren't overtly funny, like paris and helsinki, are subtle and thoughtful. i love it. my favorite movies are often the ones that put others to sleep.

Same with me :) love the work of Jim Jarmusch, like Dead Man, Ghost Dog or Down by law.
I also love the Coen-Brothers, The Big Lebowski? Genius ;) movies are art, but i feel that nearly nobody is using it to it's extend
